This site lies within the Norwich City Centre Conservation Area and adjacent to the grade II listed Remains of St Peter Southgate Church.
Any development of the site therefore has the potential to impact upon the Conservation Area and listed building and their settings.
There is currently no mention of the Conservation Area in the policy and supporting text. Although bullet point 1 refers to neighbouring listed and locally listed buildings, it would be helpful if the grade II listed building was referenced by name.

Suggested Change:
We suggest the inclusion of wording referencing the Conservation Area and specifically referencing the remains of St Peter Southgate church (grade II listed) and the need to preserve and enhance the significance of these assets (including any contribution made to that significance by setting).
