I have lived in this village for 67 years and this site has never flooded. Circle housing developed part of this site in 2012 installing additional drainage and have left provision for access for the rest of this site for additional housing in the future. They had the pick of the original site and we asked that they build near the school. We cannot understand why the additional land is unsuitable for development given the contours of the site are exactly the same. Mature trees to be retained. Is private development less important than Social Housing!!
