Respondent: Mr Simon Scott

Representation Summary:

Damgate Lane is a narrow road which already suffers from excess commercial traffic due to the Industrial Estate. There is no opportunity to widen the road, or improve on the visibility of the exit to Reedham Road which is a blind spot junction. In addition, the land on this plot is mostly water logged with the wind making the smell from the Sewage Treatment Plant very unpleasant should houses be built here. In this modern day and age with the increase in traffic with shopping deliveries, Amazon deliveries and additional cars, the road will not cope with a higher population.
