Comments from Norfolk County Council (as Highways Authority) say it all.....'Hall Road is considered to be inadequate to serve the development proposed by reason of its restricted width / lack of passing provision / substandard construction / restricted visibility at adjacent junctions. The proposal would be....detrimental to highway safety. Contrary to Development Plan Policies.' Parish Council also objected as did local residents. All local infrastructure (schools, doctors, dentists, A47 access roads etc) are already full & cannot support ANY further development.

This road is literally a dirt track to the farmland in the area. It frequently has flooding problems especially at the junction with Woodbastwick Rd and presents a danger for drivers and pedestrians as there are no footpaths or it has nowhere for vehicles to pass because the road is too narrow. I concur with the comments made from Norfolk County Council (as Highways Authority) that it would be detrimental to highway safety. The infrastructure is also inadequate with schools, doctors, dentists and access to the A47 are full to capacity.
