Permission was previously been granted for 175 houses, a restaurant and unknown number of business premises on land near to this site, which extends outside the Blofield catchment area. Houses would be subject to the noise generated by the A47. The access road is narrow with little or no space to pass other vehicles. The disruption to Yarmouth Road for installing drainage, water, electricity and services would be greater than already experienced with the new buildings on the site opposite. The infrastructure is inadequate to take on any more houses and the impact on Cucumber land roundabout would cause gridlock.
