Representation Summary:

The past proposals for this site have been refused so many times by the authorities. Our entrance to Treetops would be restricted. We would not be able to use our entrance in and out of our property sold to us 18 years ago by the Landowner. We have to pull out across the proposed road to get out. New road suppose to be outside our gates. Danger to traffic and pedestrians using this proposed site . This has been on going for many years. Large vehicles unable to use road, Bin lorries, Fire engines and Construction lorries

Concerning plans for GNPL0288 off Woodbastwick Road. Proposed site for 24 houses. This has now altered from 4 to 24. Documents and photos have been sent to the authorities in the last 5 years etc. The site has been refused a number of times by Planning, Highways and Council, the last time voted 10 to 2 against. How can this site still be recognised as a suitable building site. The entrance of the proposed road, blocking the entrance to our property at Treetops and next door to a well supported Social Club. Traffic conditions have in recent years escalated. And there is an obvious danger to traffic and pedestrians. The planned new road to the site is the only entrance and heavy vehicles will not be able to use the road for example, Bin Lorries, Fire Service engines and lorries for delivery of building materials. The entrance is not big enough and our drive, where we have right of way, given by the Land Owner himself when we purchased our property 18 year ago will be restricted. We cannot get out or in without driving to the opposite side of the entrance, thus pulling across the proposed road, causing mayhem for us and any traffic using the proposed new road, as well as a danger to any pedestrians to get down to a new site. Thankyou Mr and Mrs F Colk. Treetops.

Representation Summary:

Site GNLP0288. The information provided is incorrect, there is no "current" approval for ANY dwellings on this site.
It has been proven repeatedly that no access, of any Type, can be achieved to this site without 3rd. party land.
No access to this site can be achieved without turning a "BLIND EYE" to TREE TOPS gates.
The increased volume of traffic along Woodbastwick Road increases the DANGERS associated with any access at this location.
BDC have stated "any NEW applications in Blofield/ Brundall will be objected too by both BDC & Highways as the Cucumber Lane Roundabout is at CAPACITY".

Site GNLP0288= I suggest that the information given is incorrect, this site does NOT have OP for 24 dwellings. Application 20131655 expired in Dec. 2016, prior to the publication of this document, therefore to show accuracy & fairness this should be corrected. Accordingly this site should not be "coloured" as a site indicating "Commitments".
Applications for this site have only ever been for ACCESS,with the number of dwellings being indicative and therefore of no consequence. The 2013 application was refused outright by Highways & BDC as being considered "JUST TOO DANGEROUS" contravening both Highways & BDC policies & being adjacent to the busy access of the Community Centre. It has been demonstrated, repeatedly, that no access can be achieved by any Type of access without 3rd party land, even to the point of being demonstrated at an appeal.
Should this site be put forward again, now 5 years after the original application, it is physically apparent that the traffic count along Woodbastwick Road has increased significantly as a result of overdevelopment in both Blofield & Blofield Heath since the "Site Allocation DPD 2016". Because of this considerable increase in volume of traffic along Woodbastwick Road, to decrease the width of this road would now be an added danger and this proposal should be recmoved. Also Highways have repeatedly overlooked the dangers caused by the GATES to Tree Tops. We would emphasise that NCC Highways & BDC reasons for REFUSAL in 2013 are even more stringent today, especially in relation to PUBLIC SAFETY.
A final reason for my objection:- BDC have confirmed that any NEW applications in the Blofield/ Brundall areas would be objected too by both BDC & Highways, as the Cucumber Lane Roundabout is at CAPACITY, Blofield Heath falls within this locality.

Representation Summary:

This site has been the subject of several applications all either withdrawn or unsuccessful. The essential difficulty is the provision of safe access onto the Woodbastwick Road, now becoming yet more difficult due to significant large developments locally (actual or imminent) resulting in greatly increased traffic flows through Blofield Heath. Furthermore, local facilities and roads are inadequate even for current needs.
