Respondent: barry ridley

Representation Summary:

I am concerned about the application for an undisclosed number of houses east of Park Lane.
I understand that for 0.78 hectares of land it is possible to build approximately 20 properties. Park Lane is a small single track lane which opens onto single track roads with blind corners at both ends. I feel the increase in traffic would be very dangerous.

Respondent: Mr Peter Mackness

Representation Summary:

This site will cause significant problems to the adjacent lanes which are inadequate even for current traffic levels. Whilst new developments are required to contribute to improving local facilities, they are already insufficient for current needs, with few options for enlargement even if funds were to be made available. The location of this site so far from public transport (itself very limited) thus virtually guaranteeing that residents will be obliged to travel by car.
