Respondent: Great and Little Plumstead Parish Council

Representation Summary:

The Parish Council objects to this site allocation. The Village cannot support such a large development with next to no infrastructure in place. There is currently no shop or doctors and the school is already at capacity with no plans for a new one to built.

Full text:

A development of this site is contrary to the "Service Village" designation which Little Plumstead has, where developments should not exceed 20 dwellings.

The Parish does not have the infrastructure to support this large proposed development. There are no doctors within the parish or shops. The Primary school is currently at capacity and within the already ongoing developments will stay at capacity.

The exit and entrance to this site will presumably be through Emma's Way which is an established residential area. The exit onto Salhouse Road is already noted as being a dangerous exit so would not support the traffic which would be caused by this development.

By developing this site it will be taking good agricultural land.

I support the Parish Councils objection. It is outside the village development boundary and will take productive agricultural land which cannot be replaced.

I support the Parish Councils objection. It is outside the village development boundary as shown in the Village Plan and is productive agricultural land that cannot be replaced once built on.
