Representation Summary:

We brought a house on church road last year and where told the area behind our house was not to be built upon.

Also this area is not suitable due to people walking dogs there and it being a public right of way. Also the field is prone to flooding

Representation Summary:

The land it's self is waterlogged, local villagers were assured that planning would not be put in for at least 10-15 years and the extent of the site was not clarified. The roads are already unsuitable for their current use, without addidng additional houses. There have been many road closures around the village due to various works and it would be nice to regain stability. It would detract from the picturesque views that attract ramblers, dog walkers and cyclists to visit the village and disrupt wildlife.

I object to this planning for a number of reasons. The proposed land referred to as GNLP0431 is waterlogged. I can not imagine what would happen to the proposed houses built on this land as the ground appears unsuitable. Where would this water drain to? It concerns me that people's privacy will be compromised as houses will be in close proximity to one another and it may decrease the value of current villagers dwellings.
When purchasing one of the recently built houses, we were assured on many occasions that the land would not be applied to be built on for at least 10-15 years. Our houses are not even a year old. The extent of the proposed site was not clearly clarified with us pre purchasing our house.
Having lived in this village all my life, I know that in recent years there have been a lot of changes causing disruption to current villagers lives. We have had the water pipes updated and mains sewage introduced, along with building works, causing road closures. Roads were shut for months around the village and I think it needs to to regain stability.
The roads are virtually single track and Church Road is very busy without the additional houses. When walking around the village, I am often forced up the verge by fast moving cars and heavy load trucks. There is not adequate pathing or passing spaces for more cars. I know this is already a parish concern without additional housing.
Wreningham is a beautiful country village which is known for its picturesque walks. People are attracted to come to the village for rambles and bike rides and it would be a shame to remove more views from the area and disturb more local wildlife.

Representation Summary:

We support our modest scale project for self-build homes with associated allotment area, community orchard/open space and enlarged and enhanced bio-diversity areas. However, we note some objections have been lodged against our scheme appear to refer to site GNLP0431. Our site is not behind: nor will it overlook any existing housing, is not waterlogged, is adjacent to the main village road. Our carefully considered/sited proposal has been shown not to impact on exiting views, would increase biodiversity/habitat, provide additional areas for wider community use. It should also be noted that there are no public rights of way across the site.
