Respondent: Mrs Andrea Donnison

Representation Summary:

This land has already been assessed under the South Norfolk Local Plan and was considered unsuitable, presumably due to the narrow access to the site. Various planning applications have been turned down, including an eco home, so why would 25 dwellings be more suitable than one property that was designed to totally blend in with the surroundings yet was refused?

Respondent: Mr Graham Moore

Representation Summary:

Very narrow access from existing road (looks incorrect on map?) wouldn't provide necessary visibility splays for access road.
The property on the road frontage of the plot has previously been turned down for conversion to housing as goes against policies of the adopted South Norfolk Local Plan.
Land slopes down towards the beck and is wet in places.
Set within the conservation zone with an array of vegetation from scrub to grasses to self seeded ash and sycamore trees it provides an ideal wildlife habitat.
