GNLP 2087
This site was discussed earlier in the meeting as the developer had already had plans drawn for it. The scale, plans and design were considered to be good; concerns about specific issues such as drainage would need to be addressed at the planning stage.
The proposed access into Cuckoofield Lane was considered to be a sensible option but serious concerns were raised about pedestrian access to Mulbarton where the local services were such as schools, shops and doctors surgery. The pavement is far too narrow and with family sized homes being built there would be need to be improvements to enable access to Mulbarton without a reliance on cars.
If developed in line with outline proposals, subject to usual planning controls the parish council would have no objections to this being included in the local plan.
