Representation Summary:

Me and my friend moved into Swainsthorpe around two weeks ago, as a lovely quiet, countryside place to live. The proposed developments will ruin the charm of the place and reduce the value of the properties significantly, as well as producing noise pollution and a lot more traffic through the village.

Representation Summary:

I strongly object to the 25 dwellings outlined in the GNLP because it will ruin the history and character of the village. Huge concern about the environment and infrastructure as there are no amenities and the rising population means other services will have a knock on impact other services such as doctors, hospitals, schools etc. Also, building on green belt and agricultural land will destroy the landscape. Extra cars, access on the A140 will increase making conditions even harder on a daily basis.

I object to this development/site because it is the thin end of the wedge, it is not infill which is the only development allowed for our small village, it is outside the development limits and is opening up a whole new area for indiscriminate expansion.

I object to the plan for houses to be built on this site due the amount of traffic they will produce on an already extremely busy road. Where they plan to put the acces to the houses is on a double bend and the amount of cars that will use this access will cause accidents and problems getting out of church lane. We have to sit there and wait for ages now what will it be like when another 50 plus cars start to use it as well

I obect to the above for housing to be built on a green field site. The entrance to this site will be a nightmare as it sits on a double bend in the road and the amount of traffic that will come, from this site will cause traffic in the village as the cars try to get out on to the A140. To try and get out of Church Lane on to the A140 at the moment is atrocious and this will only get worse .

I am writing to object to three submissions lodged that directly impact the village. GNLP0604R. Ben Burgess - 25 houses off church view and GNLP 0191R. The impact on the village off traffic using Church Road, the traffic onto the Ben Burgess head quarters coming directly by the stoke holy cross turning, in the peak time its already impossible to get out our own drive let alone get onto A140. It is already used as a rat run from Mulbarton area to turn right you have to go to the Stoke turning and turn round to get to Long Stratton to the doctors and dentists etc. I am strongly opposed to these submission. I believe there are better sites for Ben Burgess HQ team on the A140. If you let more large vehicles out onto it you are increasing the risk of there being a very serious accidents, which could result in a major hold up and death.

I have been shut out by your website and would like to object to the above 3 proposals.

On the grounds that Swainsthorpe does not need any major development, there are lack of facilities here to justify such development, the road network including the A140 is not substantial enough to sustain such a development and we are surrounded by beautiful green fields which is why we live here, such a development would ruin that. It would also have a massive detrimental effect on the sale prices of properties in the area.

I object to the proposed development of green arable land to industrial use. I over look this area from my family home and feel that is does not comply with the 'other' village that is outline in the JCS. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area.

The change of use to industrial will also cause traffic chaos onto an already, busy, accident prone A140.
