Introduction
The Greater Norwich authorities (Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council and South Norfolk Council, working with Norfolk County Council) are preparing a new Local Plan.
The Greater Norwich authorities ran a Call for Sites in February – March and June-July this year. A total of 479 sites were received for consideration.
The sites submitted during the Call for Sites are now available to view on an interactive map. Basic information is available about each site including address, area, proposed use and unique ID number.
The sites are presented for information only at this stage and no assessment has been made of their suitability for inclusion within the new Greater Norwich Local Plan. The assessment of sites will take place over the coming months and the outcome of this assessment will form part of a future public consultation in June/July 2027 when people can have their say. The promotion of a site at this stage does not mean that it will be allocated in the new Local Plan.
