The increased car pressure on the village of Drayton is huge concern. The road and parking infrastructure can not cope today with the volume of traffic - this additional load would cause significant issues and without sounding dramatic - a risk to life. The junction outside the petrol station is home to many near misses and accidents today.
Plus the impact on the natural life around Thorpe Marriott will be ruined and what is a beautiful place to live will be irreparably destroyed.
