Please do not let this area of land be poisoned with development, there are not many unspoilt areas for us to use any more.
We are absolutely disgusted that this area of woodland would be used as development land. In the current time of environmental awareness that we are living in I think we should be more considerate to habitats of this type. There are so many mammals, birds and insects living in this woodland and any reduction in the area would be devastating for them and the environment. Just from our own observations we have seen newts, dragonflies, butterflies, hedgehogs, woodpecker, fieldfare, goldcrest, grass snake, buzzard, deer along with many other more common animals. They all depend on this area of woodland for their survival. Not to mention our own enjoyment of this area which is important for our health. Please don't use this area of special land, it can not be adequately replaced with newly planted trees. Areas of rich land like this are reducing so fast in the UK, please don't let it happen here.
