This area is wholly within a County Wildlife Site. At the moment the relatively low level of use and traffic generated is keeping impact on the woods to a minimum. Any further development would have a negative impact on an environment which is very important for wildlife in the area and an important leisure space for Drayton and Hellesdon residents.
Any further development would have a a negative impact on Hellesdon by creating extra demand for already overstretched services and increasing traffic congestion,as although technically in the parish of Drayton, Hellesdon is nearer.
