Site 0062 is in the Wensum Valley, is a Special Area of conservation and a site of special, scientific interest. A development at this site would have a seriously detrimental effect on wildlife and their habitats.
The Taverham Road is already a busy road and proposed building on this site will add to congestion increasing the danger for many children who walk along this road to the local school. I believe there are other more appropriate sites for example 0337, 0419, 0465 which are near the recent development of the Northern Distributor Road. Congestion would be minimal at these points due to the proximity of the new bypass.
Building on site 0062, would spoil an area of natural beauty. Often used by photographers to capture a sun set over the valley.
Overall this is just not an appropriate area to build on at this time, there are other areas which are much more suitable. The local road network is overloaded, significant flooding issues along with the presence of safeguarded mineral resources.
