This land is classed as agricultural Grade 2 land but has not been used for agriculture for a number of years since the construction of the golf course. It basically is now land that is not actively managed. Rather than build more houses in Blofield outside the settlement area this land should be landscaped and become parkland for the benefit of the surrounding inhabitants.
Infrastructure in the village of Blofield is already at capacity and an extension of the settlement area on this site is unjustified.
