The development proposed is subject to flooding and will intensify the flood risk to residents in adjacent Chapel Lane. The site proposed is only accessible on single track roads with few passing opportunities. The design of the dwellings is for two storey when the surrounding area is single storey. The village would be unable sustain a further 11 dwellings especially as the bus service has been discontinued.
