This site is in the Wensum Valley - Special Conservation Area and SSSI. The area is often flooded - there has been standing water in it for months. Taverham Road is already too busy and cannot support the increased traffic that such a development would create. The pavements along stretches of Taverham Road are inadequate, especially at school times. Inadequate school places. Doctors surgeries are not able to cope with more patients. I believe this site is also outside the planned development area for Taverham.
