I strongly object to this proposal. Is all green space to be taken away from the next generation? As someone in Hellesdon who lives right next to the lovely current green fields my young children enjoy playing in throughout the year it would be extremely detrimental to us for these to be replaced by yet even more housing. Hellesdon will definitely not be able to cope with the amount of houses proposed in this area. Traffic in and out of Hellesdon is already awful and the building starting on the golf course I thought was bad enough let alone even more houses being proposed nearer me the NDR will not help the poor suburban road network we have. What new school provisions are happening, where is a new doctors in Hellesdon to cope with the huge extra demand that will be put on strained services? I also can't see how it is safe as the planes literally take off right and come in to land right over the fields and with the airport proposing even more flights especially late night and even earlier in the morning I feel this might be off putting to potential buyers when they realise they will be completely directly under the flight path. The green space is a separation between neighbouring Drayton and Horsford, it gives definition and identity. Any building on these areas I feel will be very detrimental to current resident and Hellesdon as a whole.
