I have spent time considering the pro's and con's of this development as a local resident. On balance I don't feel it would benefit the community. There is no longer a village shop. As I type there is also no public house. The only existing business is fairhaven garden centre. Further, the local preschool and school are small in size. I do not feel the village can support or sustain 30 extra houses and the extra population that comes with them. There is no infrastructure; the extra homes would serve only to increase population, stressing the school and residents.
