The proposed development would destroy an unique historic space in the heart of Brundall, comparable to a village green. The river valley is an important landscape feature and the open space on either side provides a classic view, completed by the mediaeval tower of Blofield Church. which has been enjoyed for centuries by people from both villages. The location of the site, central to the linear village and adjoining the village hall, means that it is accessed easily from all sides by people walking dogs, jogging or strolling . It provides an alternative walking route to the congested Street,.
