Sport England support the retention of this site for sport, given the deficiencies of provision in the local area. It is capable of accommodating sports pitches, a bowling green, tennis courts and clubhouse/community centre. It's allocation would be in line with Sport England planning objectives to protect existing sports facilities, and NPPF (Paras 73-74).
