I am writing to strongly object to site 0062 on Taverham Road which is put forward for development of 144 houses as part of the Greater Norwich Local Plan. This site is in the Wensum Valley an area of conservation and an SSSI. A development in this area would have an impact on important habitats, besides further congestion on roads which are already overcrowded and services which are overstretched. There are also issues of surface water flooding and safeguarding of mineral resources. I sincerely hope site 0062 will be thrown out.
