Draft Local Plan-Part 2 Site Allocations

Representation ID: 20142

Received: 27/02/2020

Respondent: Mr Stephen Kitts

Representation Summary:

The current infrastructure of Hingham is not able sustain further development. The roads will not cope with the additional traffic of construction nor of the additional residents. The school is at maximum capacity and the local shops are not adequate enough to support an increased population leading to additional cars on the road with the additional residents having to drive to do their shopping. Extending the 30mph speed limit will not provide safe access as very few cars stick to the current 30mph limit on Dereham Road.
