I don't object to new houses being built but I do object to the positioning. I live on stringers lane and the road access is not suitable. You can only get one car through on the road. Two cars passing need to go on thesame level pedestrian path. This road is used by families to get to and from school and can, at peak times, be busy with pedestrians. I don't think additional access to and from is suitable from the proposed site. There are also often cars parked outside houses so passing would be almost impossible with two cars.
