I object to this site being deemed unsuitable for the following reasons:
1. There are 2 points of access to the site, one from Fengate and the other from the Old Norwich Road. This will naturally split the traffic loading between the two roads rather than forcing all traffic onto one road as would be the case with the preferred site south of Le Neve Road.
2. The site is a brownfield site and therefore will not be destroying more greenfield sites as would be the case with the preferred site south of Le Neve Road..
3. The owner(s) of the site have previously applied for planning permission, so it would be reasonable to assume the owner's would like it built on.
4. The site should be big enough for 35 houses and therefore would not increase the footprint of the village whilst satisfying the requirement for more housing.
5. The access from the Old Norwich Road should be able to support construction traffic without using Fengate.
