The Watsons family have owned the farm since 1963.
There has been no flooding near or on part of the farm. Mr Watson has advised the neighbouring property / land on the rare occasion a very small amount of water lays on grid ref 5332 and 6524 which is low lying. Home Farm is built up on higher ground.
The land that could be considered for future development is the front field 7.08 acres and the 2nd field of 8.55 acres. Each acre could accommodate approx.10 dwellings. A smaller amount of land on Home Farm could be considered for development.
The housing could consist of starter homes, family homes, retirement homes or even a site allocated for a local shop / supermarket. The remaining farm land of around 15 acres could be used for tree plantation, recreation, sports or small park.
Please consider a smaller scale development for your consideration.
