Representation Summary:

I object to developing site GNLP0596. Natural environment and wildlife disrupted or destroyed including birds, trees, hedgerows. It is quality agricultural land. Landscape intrusion on 3 sides. Major traffic disruption at and beyond Norwich Rd roundabout with no possible second road entrance.
Site also cannot support new school. School needed on east side of town anyway. Other sites offer much more including most importantly accessibility.

Aylsham has had many new developments in recent years so the town is very near saturation point.
Norwich Rd site ( GNLP0596) is a poor choice for the following reasons:
This site has very good quality soil for agricultural land.
Wildlife - surrounded by trees and hedgerows with many birds roosting and feeding including Guinea Fowl, Pheasant, Red Kites and other birds of prey, therefore an abundance of small mammals.
Landscape intrusion on three sides Norwich Rd, Copeman Rd and Buxton Rd.
We need to protect the environment of the countryside for all our communities wellbeing.
Norwich Road roundabout already has four busy arms, even Henry Page Rd towards Cawston, so to put in a new Road either from the roundabout or between there and and the Motel site would cause multiple traffic problems not to mention two new roads if more than 250 dwellings are needed.
This site, as stated, cannot accommodate a new primary school. Anyway surely a new primary school is needed to the east of the town as John of Gaunt/BVT and St.Michaels are on the west side.
My comments on the other sites - both can take a new school and 300 dwellings. Also Riverside Country park, footpaths, neighbourhood centre etc.
