Under the banner of “growth” rural areas are being threatened everywnere and now climate change is a real and present threat “sustainibility” should become more important. The impact this development will have on wildlife, also on footpath and bridleway use for the local community is severe. The two schools and sixth form college are already over subscribed as is the doctor. Urban outreach through keeping of pets, notably domestic cats, more cars in rural areas, increases pollution and makes our rural roads unsafe for cyclists equestrians and pedestrians. Any new houses should be using the best eco technology and materials
