Respondent: Richard Bialoszewski

Representation Summary:

More housing for an already overly expanded village. Where is the infrastructure needed to support this type of development? Our roads are already overcrowded. When we first moved to Hingham 10 years ago there was no difficulty getting Doctors appointments now we have to book 2 weeks in advance. Surely the local school cannot cope with an influx of yet more pupils. What shops there are are in the process of being killed off by high rates and the new Co-Op. We already have issues with sewage. Not needed.

Respondent: Hingham Town Council

Representation Summary:

The Town Council consider that this location for proposed development is wholly unsuitable. The land is located off a narrow road (with bends and poor visibility) which the infrastructure would not be suitable to sustain the additional traffic created by a development, in particular one of the proposed size - the road would also not be suitable to sustain the nature of the traffic during development/building. The additional traffic also would give rise to road safety concerns, being in close proximity to the primary school and doctors surgery, an area already congested during school drop off and pick up times.
