As part of A47 improvements, support the call from Acle & Lingwood/Burlingham communities for a foot/cycle path alongside the A47. This can be achieved with just 300m of path to complete the link Blofield to Acle if provided from South Walsham Road to the current A47 layby. There is an existing path onwards to Acle. Highways England is resisting this minor work, despite support from 3 Parish Councils, Broadland, NCC, and MP Jerome Mayhew. Similarly, support the call for a crossing at North Burlingham, characterised as “vital” in the 2015 study by Broadland and NCC.
