Land to enable to the future expansion of Acle Academy must be prioritised.
There is an old river bed that runs through this land.
The proposed road link from South Walsham Road to Norwich Road via this land is essential to reduce traffic movements, especially if The Windle becomes unusable or is closed after the dualling of the A47.

This land collects water from a large area and water travels along the valley into a main drain along Norwich Road, out through Damgate and into the river network. Parish councillors say that his main drain is always full so not sure the system could collect any more water. Drainage would need to be carefully managed to ensure no issues further down the drainage network.

(Changed from object to support as the Parish Council are actually supporting the categorisation of the site as unreasonable)
Strumpshaw Parish Council objects to GNLP0090. Strumpshaw Neighbourhood Plan, which runs until 2026, aims to resist development of housing outside the present areas of housing. The site is outside the Neighbourhood Plan settlement limit. The village has no shop, no school and limited public transport. The Parish Council therefore supports the description of the site as being "unreasonable".

Acle Parish Council objects to this site being developed. The councillors do not feel that there is sufficient infrastructure in the village to support this size of development and that the impact on the village as a whole would be unacceptable; doctors' surgery, traffic movements etc. There are concerns about the carting away of waste from the sewerage plant in Damgate Lane and the impact on local residents if this were to increase.

Acle Parish Council supports the designation of this proposal for 12 new homes as unreasonable. Most of the site is within the flood zone. Damgate Lane is a narrow road, with poor visibility to the right when exiting onto Reedham Road
