This site is not a public open space, it is our PRIVATE back garden.
We understand that It was a bowls club many years ago but it was a PRIVATE club , not public. It is now our garden and the club building is in a state of disrepair.
It was also a builders yard for many years ,work shops, stores and allotments in constant business use with an ample driveway serving for the use of articulated vehicles for deliveries.
It does not flood ....if it did the bowls club green would have been underwater.
Properties in the Loke behind us do not flood and are now open market properties since the removal of the agricultural tenancy clause, therefore there is housing in the valley area.
The area has ample access via Longwater lane , utilities are already in place. It is a an ideal place for development into a small residential area...perhaps desperately needed sheltered housing or a retirement area with 1 bedroomed properties for the elderly not a massive housing estate. Ideal location for GP surgery, shops and buses.
