This site sits with in the protected river valley and is part of the diverse range of habitats that allows the wild space along the Yare to thrive whilst surrounded by dense human habitation. This in turn provides a place for recreation and renewal for the people of Norwich and South Norfolk. At this time of great expansion it is important that thoughtful planning decisions maintain and enhance the environment for those generations yet to come . The loss of this land will be part of a gradual erosion of this important natural resource
