Site Proposals document

Representation ID: 13363

Received: 28/02/2018

Respondent: Mrs. Sara Webber

Representation Summary:

Plan is detrimental to character of Conservation Area village - described in previous Local Plan as 'formed by significant gaps' between buildings. Site is on rising ground so impact even greater. Village has very poor services - no mains drainage, no gas, no shop, only 4 buses a day into Norwich, roads are barely 2 cars wide in places near the site. The Common is an SSSI so at risk from site's drainage.
Playing field is currently used for dog-walking, occasional village fete and car parking for funerals etc. No village sports teams.
