Access from the development to services is not accessible by foot.
Policy 15 of the Joint Core Strategy (JCS) identifies Tasburgh as a Service Village in which land will be allocated for small-scale housing growth. Furthermore Appendix 4 in the Greater Norwich Local Plan states 'that for both service and other villages, a settlement was classified as having an accessible primary school if the school was within 2 miles from the centre of the settlement, and accessible the whole way from the outskirts of the settlement via a pavement'

Henry Preston School is not able to accommodate for the planned level of development.

The development is separated from the rest of the village. In line with the Development Policy adopted by Tasburgh Parish Council 2008 point 3 'any development should unite Upper and Lower Tasburgh and not further polarize it'

Concerns with access onto A140 for a site with potentially 475 dwellings together with a further 1800 homes already allocated to the Long Stratton development.
