This site is outside the Settlement Boundary and would encroach on open countryside which is not acceptable. Additional housing in Burston would have a serious negative impact on the traffic in the village. The road between Diss and Burston is twisty and dangerous. Any increase in traffic would add to this danger. Public transport facilities in Burston are already minimal and under threat of closure. The site is located alongside an ancient Green Lane which would inevitably suffer misuse if housing were built adjacent to it.
