29 years ago plans for this same site were rejected. It is a flood plain. Access via Gurney Lane is significantly worse than it was then. An already narrow road made worse by parked vehicles making conditions hazardous for both pedestrians and motorists. It is inconceivable that small pockets of the river valley are being considered for building when other more suitable areas are available and less likely to flood. Once the valley gone, it's lost for all future generations.
