I strongly object to the plan to put a further 40 houses on the land at the bottom of Gurney Lane. 40 houses is approximately half as many houses as already exist on Colney Lane, so this is a considerable volume of new dwellings and additional vehicles and traffic. I note with dismay plans to put large numbers of new houses at the end of Colney Lane, by the wooden bollards, and even more beyond that point on the way towards the hospital. I fear for hugely increased pressure on local services such as schools, doctors surgeries and public transport.
