This site is the only one in Bergh Apton where new houses may benefit the site. But 12 is far too many; for our roads and infrastructure and for the character of the village as a whole. 12 houses is an estate which would detract from the rural character used as a sales pitch for the houses already being built. We already have several executive type houses just completed or on the way to completion, and more mid range, 3 bed and more affordable dwellings would enable a better social mix of people. Maybe four or five houses at most!
