Site Proposals document

Representation ID: 14558

Received: 19/03/2018

Respondent: Mrs Lynne Hammond

Representation Summary:

Although the proposal would include improvement of the Beech Avenue/Ringland Road junction, construction vehicles and eventual residential traffic would have an adverse impact on local roads. The Street and Ringland Road, original routes through Taverham, were not constructed for current traffic usage and can be difficult to navigate now to avoid parked vehicles or oncoming traffic. Their narrow width and double bend do not lend themselves to increased traffic flow, particularly large vehicles. Furthermore, egress from Beech Avenue to Fakenham Road would become even more difficult, especially at peak times when lengthy queues are already the norm.
