Firstly I am appalled that no one in our area has received notification of these proposals from County. Local or parish Council & we have only found out by sheer chance.
Secondly Icannot see the sense of these small piecemeal plots of land, surely it would be better to allocate specific Large areas where it would be possible to provide all the necessary infrastructure & services required, On a much Cheaper & less damaging to the environment.
Most of the services required to allow the development of this site are south of this site across the river in Loddon.
We our given no Idea as to the form these proposals would take ie: Social housing, Affordable,Houses,Bungalows.
It should also be noted that the surface water drain in Langley road is Totally inadequate, & new drainage would have to be Provided right to the River Chet. I also doubt that the existing Foul Sewerage system is adequate to take any further houses.
The access for traffic to the A 146 Is totally inadequate via Big Back Lane & Norwich Road & The Junction with The A 146 Is Lethal & badly needs a roundabout.
Also the a 146 To Norwich is dangerously overcrowded already.
The Doctors, Dentists & Schools in Loddon are already full to capacity.
There is no Bank In Loddon & Only Occasional police Presence.
There is a lack of shops & other amenities & very little to amuse youngesters.
Surely a previously stated It would be far More Envoronmentaly friendly & provide less of a Carbon Footprint to provide one larger Site Much Closer To Norwich.
