Site Proposals document

Representation ID: 14931

Received: 20/03/2018

Respondent: Hempnall Parish Council

Representation Summary:

The parish council voted unanimously to oppose development on this site because it contravenes the parish council's planning policies which aim to restrict development to within current development boundaries and which discourages large scale development.

Residents are concerned about the traffic problems this development would cause and access via Field Lane would cause many problems. Access via Mill Rd would be even more problematic as this is a very dangerous stretch of road and the scene of many accidents.

A housing estate of 75 houses is too large to integrate into the existing rural nature of our village.
