1. Poor access from Cheney's Lane. This is single track throughout and is used by farm and other vehicles heading to Forncett St Mary/Long Stratton towards Doctors, shops etc.
2. Tacolneston has poor water pressure. Another large development would only exacerbate the problem.
3. Tacolneston doesn't have facilities to support a large development (no shops to buy the most basic essentials).
4. Increased traffic - there would be a cumulative affect on the B1113 towards Norwich from other village developments creating an issue at the A140 junction.
