ThIs is an area of the village already well-populated but whose condition is beginning to be adversely affected by the gradual decay of the former concrete block manufacturing plant on this site. Its development for housing through this application will greatly improve the conditions of the area. The site is on the side of the village closest to Norwich - potentially the most likely destination of residents - and it will give them a route choice of Poringland or A146 that will better disperse its traffic. Of sites offered in Bergh Apton this ticks all the boxes of logical development.
