I object to building taking place on this site. This small area of land makes up most of what's left of the green space between Diss and Roydon. If Roydon and Diss are to remain as two distinct communities then this land should not be built on.

The road that the entrance to this site sits on, (Brewers Green Lane) is very narrow, it is not possible for two cars to pass without one car pulling up onto the bank. To increase the traffic on this stretch of road would cause greater congestion and danger to pedestrians and cyclists and further inconvenience to motorists.

The corner where Factory Lane and Brewers Green Lane meet is also not a safe junction - visibility when exiting Factory Lane onto Brewers Green Lane is very poor, to increase the volume of traffic on Brewers Green Lane will cause greater risk to all that use the road.

The adjoining road - Factory Lane is also a very narrow (From Egremont Rd to where it meets Brewers Green Lane), building work at this site will increase traffic on Factory Lane too, where again there are sections where it is not possible for two cars to pass. Factory Lane is also used heavily by pedestrians - everyday a large number of Diss High School Pupils, dog walkers, cyclist and joggers come along Factory lane, there is no foot path or cycle path therefore any development that increases the volume of traffic will cause greater danger to school pupils and those using this lane recreationally.

I believe that the Quakers who sold the land also did so with the clause that it would not be used for development.
