Development of the site would diminish the character of The Street. Two sites are currently under construction and a third would result in a somewhat more suburban feel about the location and lose the rustic quality that people generally move to rural areas to experience.
The highway adjacent is narrow and evidence suggests there are already parking and speeding issues that any further development would exacerbate.
