Representation Summary:

GNLP0412 - Yes this site is a mess, but the advantage is that the trees and shrubs surround the site and it can hardly be seen. If a housing estate is built, the threes and shrubs will be replaced by fences. The housing estate will stick out like a sore thumb at the top of the farmers field - what an eyesore for Bergh Apton Residents!!

To, Whom it may concern,
Please read enclosed notes Re - building In Bergh Apton,
I applied twice for a response form and neither of them ever arrived.
Many from Bergh Apton have tried to respond online but failed every time they tried to do so, and are puzzled to know why it wont accept their response.
Please consider mine, and others response, to the impact that more building sites will have on residents of Bergh Apton.
Thank you
Diane Hinkly
GNLP0203 - This small field is situated right behind three grade two listed houses. These houses are well known and famous and often feature in books written about Norfolk because of their history and architectural interest including photographs.
A "Bergh Apton" barn owl and family reside close by and daily visit this field. Much loved and protected by Bergh Apton residents. This field lies directly behind these three, Grade two listed houses which means any houses built in this field will be right behind the gardens overlooking, not only the back gardens but all the living areas of the grade two listed houses, encroaching on their privacy. I am privileged to live in one of these houses. I bought the house because of its character, history and that no houses overlooked my garden or living area and the architectural interest.
I will be devastated if my views of trees and shrubs and wildlife are replaced by ugly modern houses that are not welcome in Bergh Apton and that my privacy will be lost, as every area of my living space will be overlooked. Our houses will become part of a housing estate. Please see notes at end.

GNLP0533 - The street used to have Cottages, Farms and Character, Now its beginning to look like a modern coronation street. Houses after houses. I feel so sorry for the residents.
GNLP0203/0412 - Church Road is a narrow, bendy road which has a very limited amount of traffic- It is not designed to accommodate a volume of cars and can be very dangerous at times.
Berch Apton is a quiet, quirky village. The nearest doctors is 5 miles away - there are no schools, one bus per day, when the snow came, we were cut off for 5 days - nothing accessible. Supermarkets are a miles away, there are no amenities! The houses recently built are not in keeping with the area and many sitting empty.
Please, Please Please!!
No more houses in Bergh Apton. Please don't continue to ruin our village and spoil what is left of our parish. The architectural interest of the grade two listed houses will be beried amoungst a modern housing estate.
Regards
Diane Hinkly

On behalf of herself and many others who tried to go online to protest, but found it was too difficult to get online because the site wouldn't allow them to do so.
